General Principles and Rules

Lex Logistics obtains and processes personal data with due care, lawfully and for legitimate purposes, and stores it securely. When the processing purpose no longer exists or has been fulfilled, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised using a method consistent with this policy.

Confidentiality: Personal data processing within Lex Logistics is conducted confidentially. We take available technical and administrative measures to prevent unauthorised access and review those measures periodically.

Lawfulness and fairness: Lex Logistics obtains and processes personal data lawfully and fairly, within the limits established by legislation.

Accuracy and keeping data up to date: Personal data is maintained completely and accurately and updated when necessary. We make the necessary arrangements to identify data that needs to be corrected, changed, updated or deleted.

Specific purposes and transparency: Personal data is processed for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes. We do not process it for purposes other than those made transparent to the individual. A legitimate purpose means that the data is connected with and necessary for our business or services.

Due care, proportionality and consistency: Data processing is reasonably limited to the stated purpose. We do not collect data for possible future purposes or use, process or transfer it in a way inconsistent with the purpose of collection. Under the data minimisation principle, we retain only data that is relevant and proportionate to that purpose.

Limited retention: When the main purpose requiring processing ceases and the data is no longer needed, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Where legislation specifies a retention period, data is retained for that period. After it expires, Lex Logistics periodically reviews the data and deletes, destroys or anonymises it in the systems, devices or physical environments where it is held.

Choice and consent: Lex Logistics informs individuals fully about the processing of their personal data. Where required, we obtain consent and offer the option to withdraw it or make a request concerning the data. Following withdrawal of consent, personal data is handled in accordance with the other principles in this policy.
